Apparently I’m still deep in my Military Romance Era 😅
My current read: Operation Second Chance by Lynda Rees — a second-chance, small-town romance with a Special Forces hero, a stubborn farm girl, and so much emotional tension.
Set in Sweetwater, Kentucky, it’s got cowboy boots, small-town secrets, and that very specific flavour of angst where the hero is both fiercely loyal and emotionally constipated. I`m really hoping this turns into a full-blown cowboy affair but for now I`m happy trying to figure out who framed the MC for her hubby`s murder.
Bonus points for the setting. Extra bonus points for the drama. And yes, I am pretending Gabe Connors is Dex every time I open the book (if you know, you know).
